Prof. Dr. Cenk Eray Yildiz began his medical education at Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine, the same institution whose discipline would later shape his surgical judgment and academic outlook. In 1997, he entered cardiovascular surgery training, choosing a field defined by long operations, urgent decisions and sustained responsibility.

Over more than 25 years, his work has included adult and pediatric cardiac surgery, artificial heart support systems, stem cell research and VAC therapy for complex wounds. In recent years, his clinical focus has increasingly centered on varicose veins, chronic venous insufficiency, venous ulcers, lymphedema and lipedema.
